Finished another week!

Universal Warmup done,
40 Jumping Jacks (EotD) done,
The White Rabbit (WotD) attempted (1 set),
Day 1 of Fit December done,
Day 1 of One & Done done,
Day 1 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 2 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

This week went a lot better than the previous one.
Although I'm not doing as well on the food front, the sweet stuff is wiggling its way back into my diet, but not as badly as it was (It's mostly just the odd yogurt or something as I try and get the Housemate to eat more).
More importantly, the Housemate is really bouncing back well (I guess the doctor did know what he was talking about), still needs a lot more help than she used to, but she's sleeping the whole night now, plus no night terrors!

See y'all tomorrow!

Struggled a lot with my exercises this morning, I've got tired, old bones, managed almost everything I wanted to do though:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Stacked (Knee) Push-Ups (EotD) done,
Total Core (WotD) attempted (Most of 1 set, Planks are hard today),
Day 2 of Fit December done,
Day 2 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 2 of One & Done done,
Day 3 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Another quiet day ahead, gotta wait in for a delivery, then it's Chinese Chicken and Mushrooms for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

Yesterday was a complete write off, I got up late (And by late I mean it was the afternoon by the time I woke up), and now I'm tired because, of course, I couldn't get to sleep last night.
Luckily my exercise programs were still at a point where I could catch up today:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Plank Arm Raises (EotD) done,
Days 4 and 5 of Fit December done,
Days 4 and 5 of 1000 Squats done,
Days 4 and 5 of One & Done done,
Day 5 of Unbound done (Wasn't bendy enough for position 6 but I tried),
Ankle Recovery done.

All I've managed to do lately is watch a film, Late Night With The Devil (It was an interesting take on the "Found footage" genre, but I think a more ambiguous ending would've worked better), gotta do all the stuff I didn't do yesterday, including shopping for tonight's dinner, Pear and Parsnip Soup.
See y'all tomorrow!

Yeah. Bow pose is a lot sometimes. If you can get into the prep position, you can start working towards it by trying to lift first just your legs, then just your upper body. Some people find Half Bow more accessible. (I actually find Half Bow harder, because it's lopsided. But YMMV.) With Half Bow, you can also have the hand that's not holding the foot on the ground for support. It doesn't need to be lifted like in the pictures.

If you're saying, "Yeah. No, Laura. None of that is happening," right about now, Camel is a good alternative that has some more accessible options. If you don't have Bow Pose, you likely won't be able to grip your heels in the traditional Camel pose either, but you can make the pose a lot easier by tucking your toes (which lifts your heels up, bringing them a lot closer). If the heels aren't within reach any which way you slice it, a Supported Camel with hands on the sacrum is a good option.

tonight's dinner, Pear and Parsnip Soup.
I am making this tomorrow!

Looking through those Yoga poses, I think Supported Camel is about as much as I can manage at the moment, my arms just never seem long enough to reach my feet! (Even with something like Ankle Recovery's Single Leg Balance, I can't grab hold of my leg like in the picture).
But I'm going to keep repeating Unbound, so I'll try and do something a little harder each time.

It's a very tasty soup!

Feeling a bit low and rundown this morning, but still managed quite a bit:-

Universal Warmup done,
5 Tricep Extentions (EotD) done (Don't think these work quite right if you're on your knees, they seemed suspiciously easy ),
Leg-endary (WotD) attempted (2 sets),
Day 6 of Fit December attempted (2 sets),
Day 6 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 6 of One & Done done,
Day 6 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

Ran out of Dr. Who to watch for the moment, so I've started the Housemate on The Mandolarian, which she's enjoying quite a bit (I thought she would, she's had a Grogu plushie for years).
Still working on meals that can be eaten with a spoon, so it's Cottage Pie for dinner tonight, see y'all tomorrow!

It's not your arm length! Your spinal mobility, yes. It's also quite likely your hip flexors. Supported Camel will help with both.

But I'm going to keep repeating Unbound, so I'll try and do something a little harder each time.

Did a bit better with my exercises this morning, but I'm feeling really low and wasn't in much of an exercising mood:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Butterfly Sit-Ups Crunches (EotD) done,
Days 7 and 8 of Fit December attempted (1 set of each, I'll try and catch up on these tomorrow, but I may need to use some Hall Passes),
Days 7 and 8 of 1000 Squats done,
Days 7 and 8 of One & Done done,
Sore Feet done.

My mood has been brightening as the day has gone on, so hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow, I'll see y'all then!

Was quite happy when I got up and did my exercises this morning, unfortunately it all went downhill from there:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Crunch Kicks (EotD) done,
Feel Good (WotD) done (1 set),
Days 7 and 8 of Fit December done (Was determined to get these done),
Day 9 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 9 of One & Done done,
Day 7 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Try and get fully caught up with Fit December tomorrow, see y'all then!

Today's goal is to maintain a positive mental attitude. :dancy:

Universal Warmup done,
30 Alt Arm/Leg Raises (EotD) done,
2 Minute Arms (WotD) done,
Days 9 and 10 of Fit December done (All caught up! :yas:),
Day 10 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 10 of One & Done done,
Day 8 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

Plus 50 Knee Push-Ups for my Ornament.

Going to keep myself busy with stuff today, see if that holds the Winter Blues at bay, plus Arroz Chaufa for dinner.
See y'all tomorrow!

Exercises were hard on the old legs today, didn't quite finish everything:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Squat Hops On The Spot (EotD) done,
Touch The Sky (WotD) attempted (Aimed for 1 set but couldn't do the Planking half thanks to a stupid sore toe),
Day 11 of Fit December attempted (3 sets, took forever to do the Leg Raises on that third set so called it a day),
Day 11 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 11 of One & Done done,
Day 9 of Unbound done (With difficulty!),
Ankle Recovery done.

(Edit) Totally forgot about my 50 Knee Push-Ups towards my ornament!

Yesterday went well, keeping myself busy kept my spirits high!
Dinner was a disappointment though, didn't taste of much. Don't know if it was me or the recipe (It was a weird one that seemed to cook things for too long), won't make it again, I've got better Fried Rice recipes.
Also watched Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, who would've thought that a random, unwarranted, years late sequel would end up being one of the best things Dreamworks has made?

Going to be another day of keeping busy, see y'all tomorrow!

Going to try taking the Housemate around the park in her wheelchair later, but her heated fur throw arrived this morning so it may be hard to get her to move :softz:
See y'all tomorrow!

Even more exercising done :yas: :-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Clench/Unclench (EotD) done,
Still Standing (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 13 of Fit December done,
Day 13 of 1000 Squats done,

Day 11 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

Plus the final 50 Knee Push-Ups to claim my first ever Ornament, woot! :applause:

Didn't get the Housemate around the park yesterday, the weather took a turn for the damp and gloomy (Much like today), going to try again on Saturday when I go grocery shopping.
See y'all tomorrow!

Saturday was a bust, the Housemate needed a lot of help during the night, so I just spent the day dozing in my chair. Last night wasn't much better, but I am at least with it enough for exercises this morning:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Split Jacks (EotD) done,
Days 14 and 15 of Fit December attempted (3 sets each),
Days 14 and 15 of 1000 Squats done,
Days 14 and 15 of One & Done done,
Day 12 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

I think this is the last time I'll be able to do one of these double catch-up days, it was really tough! (Especially the Squat Challenge)
It's going to be another day of dozing on my chair I think, my eyelids are getting very heavy, see y'all tomorrow!

Very tired, still not getting enough sleep, managed to crawl through a few exercises though:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Hero Squats (EotD) done,
Factory Reset (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 16 of Fit December attempted (2 sets, I was doing okay with the actual Leg Raises, it was the holding myself in a sitting position I couldn't manage for long),
Day 16 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 16 of One & Done done,
Day 13 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

Can't spend the day dozing, I've got chores to do, so the plan is to go to bed in the early evening, then get up when it's time to put the Housemate to bed, and spend the night reading and doing hobby stuff.
I still won't get a lot of sleep, but hopefully I'll get enough so I'm not irritable and angry all the time.
I'm not sure what to do long term though, something to think about.
See y'all tomorrow!

Is there any respite care available for you, @aku-chan ? (I get that your housemate may be resistant to accepting it--and you'll need to find a way of explaining it to her that's more diplomatic than what I'm about to say--but that's frankly tough shit. Respite care is for your benefit. And you need it.)

@Laura Rainbow Dragon - There is, but there's no way the Housemate would go for it. She didn't even like the carers the Hospital arranged to help out when she first came home, or the community nurse.

It's been a couple of days. My plan to go to bed in the evenings didn't work because I couldn't get my silly brain on board, so I've been too tired for exercising.
I managed some early morning exercises today though (I'm weirdly energetic at the moment despite the lack of sleep):-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Reverse Lunges (EotD) done,
Protagonist (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 17 of Fit December attempted (3 sets, I wonder if I'll ever start to find this basic arm wriggling any easier?),
Day 17 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 17 of One & Done done,
Day 14 of Unbound done,
Ankle Recovery done.

Didn't worry about trying to catch up, I'll just do what exercises I can when I can.

Been cooking some good stuff for dinner, last night was a Beef Daube, which was really tasty (Needs less orange zest next time though) plus I discovered I like prunes.
Tonight is a Sausage Cobbler, see y'all tomorrow!

You need to be able to sleep @aku-chan . If you're not taken care of, you will be no good to anyone.

@Laura Rainbow Dragon @NightWolf714 - I'll get the Christmas holidays out of the way first and then see how things are doing. I've managed to get the Housemate to start going out to the park and shops etc again, which seems to be helping her sleep better. Although (As today's session of early morning exercises shows) we've still got a bit of a problem with night terrors.

Working out, woot! :jacks:

Universal Warmup done,
40 Palm Strikes (EotD) done,
Shadow Stray (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 18 of Fit December done,
Day 18 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 18 of One & Done done,
Day 15 of Unbound done (My hips did not like this one!)
Sore Feet done.

See y'all tomorrow!

The week is off to a decent start:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Chest Expansions (EotD) done,
Skyborn (WotD) done (1 set),
Day 20 of Fit December attempted (3 sets, too much arm wriggling),
Day 20 of 1000 Squats done,
Day 20 of One & Done done,
Day 17 of Unbound done,
Sore Feet done.

My main job today is to buy the veggies for Christmas dinner (I wasn't going to bother this year but the Housemate insists), see y'all tomorrow!
