Today I should have gone to the gym but the bricklayers arrived by surprise to repair the last water leak on the roof, let's hope for the best 🤞
So I adapted and did just 15 mins on the fly and I am very happy with my adaptability

I'm questioning the entire health department of my life.
Diet
It started from my partner's diet, in 6 months she had increased by 10 kg and I by 2 kg, the difference is due to the fact that I continued to train and she didn't.
It was all due to inactivity, lunches and dinners decided at the last minute more as a matter of convenience than balancing lunches and dinners with a weekly schedule as we usually did.
We quickly dropped the hardline version of the diet and eased it off, however my partner lost the excess pounds and I too returned to my usual weight of 63kg at 1.65m.
We went back to eating the way we like it, which was basically already healthy, the only thing we have maintained is to keep meals mainly of carbohydrates for lunch and proteins for dinner and we plan weekly meals balancing them with each other as we did before.
Supplements
I'm still thinking about the supplements I take, I've stopped protein powders altogether. I was on a general multivitamin and a joint function supplement, I'm debating whether or not to add some probiotics and something detox. I would like to keep a minimum amount that gives me benefits but without exaggerating.
Training
As for training I'm trying to do it better; better is more instead of more is better.
So far it's not working, various pains surround me and pretending nothing happened and going on hoping that everything will magically pass is not a valid option.
It must also be said that it is the period of allergies and perhaps what I am suffering now is the result of various previous causes that add up at random.
However, I'm taking it all by trial and error, trying to improve :)

Have you had to take antibiotics or had an episode of gastroenteritis? If you have not the probiotics probably won't be much use (because all the space in your "parking lot of bacterias" that is your gut are already taken so the ones you would take would just not stay...). I suggest focusing on prebiotics (that's cheaper and will feed your good bacterias : potatoes and lots of veggies have these properties).
As for detox products I think it's a lot of marketing and commercial stuff, and sometimes if you have another treatment like for diabetis or cholesterol or antidepressants, they reduce the absorption rate and get in the way of the treatment. Maybe you could ask yourself if you're exposed to some things you would like to avoid and find a way to work around those things instead?
Good luck on your trial and error stuff! ;)

@Tileenah I have no particular problems, I see supplements as an extra pampering rather than a necessity, a nudge in the right direction :)

I should have organized my training in a reasonable way, increasing stretching and mobility to do every day (15-21 min), let's see if I can handle going back to training in the gym without other contractures and discomfort.
I will train Monday and Friday in the gym in the morning and Tuesday and Thursday in the evening with Muay Thai, Wednesday I will keep it as a recovery day in the middle of the week.

Now let's talk about serious things: books to read.
I discarded Kate Daniels Series because I've already read more than half of the books in Italian and I don't want to read everything in English again and I already know that I couldn't resist starting over...
The other series that inspire me are:
The Dresden Files Series which I haven't read anything about, the first trilogy came out this month for the first time in Italian.
Jane Yellowrock Series I only read the first book and I liked it a lot then nothing was published in Italian anymore.
The Hollows Series i read the first 5 books then nothing came in italian, same problem as with the Kate Daniels Series.
I want to continue reading in English because then I have much more choice and immediate access to everything that is published.
I'm only evaluating Urban Fantasy series because they inspire me right now and only being published because I like the idea of knowing that another new book in a series that I like and am passionate about will be released.
So surprisingly I will start Guild Codex Universe Series
@Anek intrigued me and I like that it's a series that started in 2018, so fresh off the press.
@Sólveig I took note of the suggestion, thanks :)
@Nihopaloa one of the advantages of a long-running series that you enjoy is that you can read quite a few books at your own pace
