Depending on how you set it up you can also do lower back and glutes/hamstrings.
In any case, my partner always makes fun of me saying that any news is viewed with suspicion by me for at least 48 hours and only then considered positive or negative :LOL:

Simplifying is my new aim for the immediate future.
So on active rest days I'll do exactly what I feel like doing without planning :LOL:

I have a back contracture, since yesterday and therefore it is better that I don't go to the gym today, I will do some quiet training at home, massage chair and infrared lamp :)
It pleasantly amazes me how philosophically I'm taking it :LOL:

Eeks, hope your back mends well.
I don't know for Italy, bit in France all OTC myorelaxant have been, one by one, banned (because of adverse effects). As a consequence, when you get a sciatica or neck strain that's annoying enough - but not that worrying that you'd rush to the doctor, heat (and the eventual paracetamol) is all what's left.

Basically as soon as I thought about putting in a little more effort at the gym I literally froze :LOL:
Seriously in my back I have more discomfort than pain but I know myself well enough to know that if I train normally pretending nothing happened I end up walking bent to one side, so I was good and I'll be good until my back contracture it definitely doesn't get better :)

:vibes: I don't know if there are physios using the Mc Kenzie method around your place, but if you feel at some point that your back pain isn't going away on its own or feel too much discomfort it is a good method. You can find videos and explanations on youtube or the net on the principles if you want. Take care!

Today I read an interesting article:
Looking Better Than 99% of People Over 40 is About One Thing
The interesting part that got me thinking is this:
What is M.E.D.?
Doing the Minimum Effective Dose means doing just enough to move the needle and improve your health, fitness, and body shape as you get older.
And then not trying to do any more than this because it’s unsustainable.
I have to mull over it some more, in the meantime I have established a minimum during the day to cultivate mobility and flexibility:
Universal Warmup (5 min)
Surya Namaskara (10 min)
Yes, it's that simple but done every day it could make all the difference :)
The rest of my training before breakfast is already a habit and the gym and Muay Thai are also already established.
