I have to dose the push-ups (and then the pull-ups) better at the end of the workout because I can't do the workout I usually do when I'm tired :p
I started reading a new author: Lindsay Buroker and I like it so much, the characters are interesting and fun and the stories flow really well :)
I have read the first two books of the Legacy of Magic Series and now I'm reading the Death Before Dragons Series which is earlier than the one I started with, I like to do things in order.
By reading in English I can really access an impressive number of books :LOL:

I agree that being able to read / watch in English, you gain access to a lot more material (and / or earlier, not waiting for translation). One of the reasons I keep my English sharp, besides work.
The books translated into Italian are really limited and above all you often find yourself with only a partial publication of a series.
Too often I happened to get passionate about a story and lose it along the way because no other books were published.
I radically solved the problem by reading directly in English, actually in the end it was definitely easier than I thought, it was enough to persist in the stubbornness of reading only in English :LOL:

Meanwhile I am allergic to translated books, especially in Italian. I read in the original English some of my old favorites which I had read and loved when I first read them in Italian, and omg the difference! And way too often the translation left out parts. So annoying!

Experimenting with the new workout went well, until September it will be very simple: 2 days of strength training (with push-ups, pull-ups and kettlebell swings) in the gym and the rest in combat workouts :)

I modified the ending of the workout by replacing punches with elbow strikes, in this way it is a perfect basis for Muay Thai strikes: punches, kicks, knee and elbow strikes :LOL:

I didn't feel like doing any combat workouts today so I just stretched out a bit.
I intend to keep the 4 main workouts, 2 gym and 2 Muay Thai as "serious" workouts and be much softer with the other 5 I'll do at home :LOL:
I'm trying to rationalize what I do a bit, simplifying and eliminating everything that isn't necessary, useful or pleasant :)

I reduced the warmup to 5 minutes, it's enough and I don't risk not wanting to do it because it's too long and boring for me.
In this way I have a minimum warmup of 5 minutes and a minimum final stretching of another 5 minutes, 10 minutes in all are a small investment of time to avoid problems and injuries, I consider them health insurance:)
I intend to train in a more organic way for this season, with a good overall scheme but leaving a good leeway between a minimum training and a maximum and some leeway to change training at least a bit, for example with challenges so as to always have something new and never get bored.
Obviously all these thoughts and plans of mine will last until the next reasoning or plan :LOL:

Yesterday evening the athletic training course for Muay Thai started and although it was a fairly quiet workout I sweated profusely :LOL:
With the other regulars of the Muay Thai course we agreed that the athletic training in September is by far the hardest training :p

I decided for The Miner Challenge to do 100 Hindu Squats in one go on squat day and do Hindu Push-Ups - (instructional video) for digging.
I am really enjoying having a challenge to do again every day, the trick is that the exercises do not last long and are not particularly demanding so that I can easily insert them into my usual training :LOL:
