Start of a new month and I'm up early for exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Half Jacks (EotD) done (I replaced them with Step Jacks),
Bright and Beautiful (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 1 of Fit December done,
Day 1 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 14 of 30 More Days of Yoga attempted,
Happy Feet done,
Stapler done.

So many Jacks! My poor arms are sore and noodlely.

Yesterday went well, didn't get through as much coursework as I would've liked, but I'm getting there slowly, and my soup was yummy (I also learnt while you can't freeze fennel, celery sort of works, so I no longer have to keep throwing the stuff away).
Got to go out into the rain in a little bit to see my Work Coach, you would think they would leave me alone now I'm employed but no :vsad: .

See y'all tomorrow!

Did a little bit of exercise this morning:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Leg Raises (EotD) done,
Day 2 of Fit December done.
Day 2 of 2 Minute Mobility done.

I was going to do a bit more when I got home this afternoon, but I've got an angry spine at the moment, so that's it for today.

The rest of the day is going to involve more training and Butternut Squash Saag for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Laura Rainbow Dragon - My back is not too bad this morning, I think it's just all the sitting down in front of a screen I've been doing lately, I'll save that back workout collection though, for the next time it's angry at me!

Early exercising again:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Punches (EotD) done,
Bring It On (WotD) done (3 sets with Step Seal Jacks),
Day 3 of Fit December done,
Day 3 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 15 of 30 More Days of Yoga attempted,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Tendons done.

I made a decent dent in my e-learning yesterday, despite almost falling asleep during the first module, going to try and get through a similar amount today after volunteering, plus yummy leftover Saag for dinner.
See y'all tomorrow!

Early exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Heel Get-Ups (EotD) done,
Can't Stop Me Now (WotD) attempted (2 sets with no jumping),
Day 4 of Fit December attempted (3 sets),
Day 4 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

Absolutely messed up my shoulders doing the 2 minutes of Arm Circles, managed to struggle through a bit more of my other stuff but just couldn't get it all done today. On Arm Circle days I'm going to have to leave those as the very last thing I do as they just take too much out of my old arms.

Most of today is going to be spent waiting for a workman to come around, I've got a leaky radiator, and then I've got some evening volunteering. They're lucky I'm going as I'm pretty grumpy with that particular group of volunteers at the moment. The guy in charge asked if I could help out an extra Sunday a month, I said sorry but I couldn't, he wouldn't let it drop, so I explained that I already help another place quite often on Sundays, he still wouldn't let it drop say how it was only one Sunday a month and it was in the evening so it wouldn't clash with any other stuff I was doing, so I told him the real reason, that I'm really struggling financially at the moment and I just couldn't afford an extra trip in to town every month, to which he just sighed, said "I guess we'll just have to try and manage then." and walked off.
Honestly, between him and the other guy who keeps invading my personal space, I'm really going off volunteering there, and they're going to be dropped as soon as I start picking up shifts with my care home job.
See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Laura Rainbow Dragon @agc - Unfortunately it's in my work plan with the job centre to do so many hours of volunteer work a week, so I'd have to replace it with something else anyways. Fortunately the guy gets reassigned at the end of the year, which I think is why he's being so pushy at the moment, all the little projects he's set up need to be self-sustaining before he goes.

Very tired, got a call late last night that the Housemate was very unwell and would probably be going back into hospital and that they would call me later to update me. I stayed up until about 2am waiting, but they never did call back.
So doing some mid-morning exercising today:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Side Leg Raises (EotD) done,
Man Down (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 5 of Fit December done,
Day 5 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 16 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk To The Hand done.

Finished all my e-learning training modules yesterday, yay! :yas:
So I'm taking a day off today, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @JCU @Laura Rainbow Dragon @Mamatigerj - The Housemate did end up spending the day in hospital getting checked over but it wasn't serious enough to keep her in. Between her COPD and mysterious fainting spells, I think they have to be super cautious with her, which is good, I just wish they would call me back when they say they will!

Got up later than I wanted to, I really need to get back into a proper sleep routine, I'm in no rush this morning though:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Clench/Unclench (EotD) done,
This Princess Doesn't Cry (WotD) done (3 sets. I can do Tricep Dips now, woohoo! :shine:),
Day 6 of Fit December done,
Day 6 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 17 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

A double Arm Circles day? Madness! Just about managed to get everything done today.
Got my second shift at the stadium today, although if the weather keeps being this manky, we're not going to be very busy (And, hopefully, the uniforms for chunkier people have come in, so I can properly feel like part of the team!).
See y'all tomorrow!

As I like to say, that's a reason but not an excuse. I hope he lays off it, though, because you don't deserve to be treated that way.

Glad to hear the housemate wasn't as unwell as they feared. And glad to hear the actual work stuff and learning modules are going well

A bad cold and some mild food poisoning (Taking home leftover stadium food is not the job perk I thought it was :sadness:) kept me out of action for a few days, but I'm back at it today. Going to double up on Fit December until I catch up:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Single Leg Hops Calf Raises (EotD) done (I tried doing Single Leg ones but it was too hard!),
Days 7 and 8 of Fit December done,
Days 7, 8 and 9 of 2 Minute Mobility done (Still really struggling with those Arm Circles, even breaking it up into two 1 minute sessions with a decent rest in the middle doesn't help that much),
Day 18 of 30 More Days of Yoga attempted,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Tendons done.

Haven't done much the last couple of days, it's basically been:- Sleep, drag myself off to whatever I'd promised to help out with (I didn't want to drop out at such short notice), try to keep some food down, more sleep etc.
But my cold has been downgraded to a case of the snuffles and I managed to eat yesterday's dinner (Crispy Chicken with Egg Fried Rice), so I think I'm mostly better now. Good thing too as it's a busy day today, got volunteering at the Food Bank later this morning and then an evening shift at the stadium.
See y'all tomorrow!

Yesterday was a very long day, so I had some extra sleep this morning, exercise time:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Backfists (EotD) done,
Days 9 and 10 of Fit December done,
Days 10 and 11 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 19 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

150/500 Squats for the Christmas Ornament.

Not much to do today, got to wait for an online appointment with my work coach and then I can go grocery shopping.
Finally starting my care home job next week (Yay!), I've got to get up really early for it though, so I will finally have to learn the secret of exercising in the afternoon!

See y'all tomorrow!

My cold is fighting back a bit, but not enough to stop me from exercising this morning:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Shoulder Taps (EotD) done,
Days 11 and 12 of Fit December done (All caught up!),
Day 12 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 20 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

A visiting the Housemate day today, hopefully she's in a better mood and actually settling in like everyone keeps telling me she is.
I'm learning how to buy train tickets on my new smartphone (I totally get why they're so indispensable to people now and realise I was being a bit weird and luddite-ish in being so dismissive of them!), with luck I'll have it figured out by the time I get to the station.

See y'all tomorrow!

Exercise time:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Squat + Side Kick (EotD) done,
Cleric (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 13 of Fit December done,
Day 13 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 21 of 30 More Days of Yoga attempted,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

400/500 Squats for the Christmas Ornament (Tried getting this wrapped up today, but I couldn't).

Got really out of breath doing my exercises today, I hope this stupid cold isn't getting into my lungs. :mask:

Yesterday was quite a sad day, the Housemate is not doing well. She screamed at me to go away as soon as she saw me, but I kinda expected that anyways. But, apparently, all she does all day is sit in this corridor that joins her more secure area to the rest of the care home, with all her belongings (She won't let the staff unpack her stuff) waiting for someone to take her home. She's not eating or taking her medications regularly and the staff just don't know what to do to help.
I suspect she's either going to do something silly and get kicked out of this home too, or she's going to make herself very ill, either way I think she'll be back in the hospital soon.

Today is just a quiet chore day with Kielbasa Pasta for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Laura Rainbow Dragon - It's hitting a bit harder because she seemed to be doing so well in hospital, she still had off days, but mostly she was quite calm and engaging with people and the activities they did, but there's something about care homes just seems to flip a switch in her head.

@TopNotch - It only appears that way because I normally only mention what I'm making when I'm trying out a new recipe, and I've got a link to it! I do try and make something new every week though.

Exercising a bit earlier today because I'm going to be out most of the day:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Clamshells (EotD) done,
Glow (WotD) done,
Day 14 of Fit December done,
Day 14 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 22 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Wrist Mobility done.

500/500 Squats done for the Christmas Ornament.

Why does Fit Decembers Arm Circle days keep lining up with 2 Minute Mobility's? That just seems mean. :verysadkitty:

Busy day today. Prepping everything for tomorrow's Community Christmas Dinner plus providing refreshments at an evening carol concert. The higher ups actually managed to annoy the lady I usually help out in the kitchen, which I didn't think was possible (She's one of the calmest people I've ever met), they didn't bother arranging anyone to help with the carol concert originally, they just assumed she would do it because she was already there (She probably would've done it anyways but it's always nice to be asked first!). Hopefully, they've got someone covering refreshments for the morning service or she might walk out.
I'm out working every day this week, at least I'm getting paid for some of it, so that's a step in the right direction, see y'all tomorrow!

Congratulations on earning your Spellbook!

It's a good thing if one is working towards their Golden Apple. Otherwise, I agree with you. How many arm circles does a body really need to do in a day? (Other than on Ornaments days, I do them once and count them towards both.)

Day 16 of Fit December done,

A little bit of early evening exercising today:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Balance Low Turning Kicks (EotD) done (My balance is terrible today),
Day 17 of Fit December done,
Day 17 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 25 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Happy Feet done,
Hand Tendons done.

I didn't do all that I usually do, I had my first day at the care home job and I'm tired. :exhausted:
Going to make some Nachos for dinner and try not to fall asleep, I'll see y'all tomorrow!

Missed yesterday, I was just too cold, tired and achey when I got home, but I've got a little bit more oomph today:-

Universal Warmup done,
Days 18 and 19 of Fit December done,
Days 18 and 19 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 26 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Footwork done,
Hand Mobility done.

Finished my three training shifts at the care home. I enjoyed it and I was kept really busy, but I'm a little annoyed, I feel they misrepresented how much work I would get with them. I knew with it being a casual job I wouldn't be there every week, but the only time they need me in the foreseeable future is one day in February.

I guess I'll have to start job hunting again in the new year, see y'all tomorrow!

Didn't sleep very well and had a bit of a restless night, so I've got a bit of a manky back this morning, throwing some back pain workouts in to the mix:-

Universal Warmup done,
Back Pain Relief done,
Lower Back done,
Day 20 of Fit December done,
Day 20 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Day 27 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Plus 1 Snowball dodged so far...

Working at the stadium later today, at least that appears to be a real job even if I'll never get that much work there, see y'all tomorrow!

End of a very busy week, at least I don't have much to do today except exercise:-

Universal Warmup done,
5 Jump (Power) Squats (EotD) done,
Kinder (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 21 of Fit December done,
Day 21 of 3 Minute Mobility done,
Day 28 of 30 More Days of Yoga done,
Sore Feet done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

And 3 more Snowballs dodged.

Going to have a lazy day today, see y'all tomorrow!

Back to early-ish mornings:-

Universal Warmup done,
#Strong (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 22 of Fit December done,
Day 22 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Days 29 and 30 of 30 More Days of Yoga (All done! I don't do anywhere near the amount of meditation I'm supposed to, so I thought I'd get this all wrapped up today),
Happy Feet done,
Wrist Mobility done.

Plus 8 more Snowballs dodged.

Surprised I got through 30 More Days of Yoga, admittedly I'm still not bendy enough to do some of the poses right, nor can I hold them that long, but it wasn't as hard as I thought.
The original plan going forward was to cycle through Unbound and the two Yoga programs, but they're kinda big time sinks for what's meant to be a bit of light cool-down stretching, so instead I'm going to cycle through the two Stretching collections.

Today is another wait in for workmen day (I've got leaky radiators that need replacing) and then some cautious grocery shopping (I'm kinda broke from buying work clothes and things). I wish I could be one of those people who just see food as fuel and are content to just make a big pot of lentil stew once a week every week, but no, I have to make Chicken and Coconut Pilaf and Beef Enchiladas.

See y'all tomorrow!

But think of all the enjoyment you'd miss out on!

Thanks! @Anek @Laura Rainbow Dragon @JCU @MangoTux @Fremen @TopNotch

Turned off my alarm because there was no reason to get up early today, and I now I've badly overslept and I'm both tired and achey, you would think a body would just wake up when it had had enough sleep.
Exercise time:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Seconds Elbow Plank (EotD) done,
Story Mode (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 23 of Fit December done,
Day 23 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Hips and Glutes Stretch done,
Footwork done,
Wrist Pain done.

And a final 30 Snowballs dodged.

A quiet day ahead (What's left of it!), going to be out all day volunteering tomorrow (Who would have guessed that churches get busy around Christmas?), so I'll see y'all tomorrow evening!

Getting the hang of this later in the day exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Seconds Wall Sit (EotD) done,
Day 24 of Fit December done (I did a non-hopping version with Step Jacks and Calf Raises),
Day 24 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Everyday Stretching Light done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Stapler done.

A successful day of volunteering done. Merry Christmas y'all!

Doing some early-ish exercising this Christmas morning:-

Universal Warmup done,
Christmas Rockout (WotD) done,
Day 25 of Fit December done,
Day 25 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Everyday Stretching done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Tendons done.

A lady at the church has successfully wrangled some of us who would be on our own today in to celebrating Christmas together with the promise of providing dinner. I must admit, I'm not really looking forward to it, but I'm not going to turn down free food, plus I am supposed to be working on my people skills.

See y'all tomorrow!

@TopNotch - It usually is in my experience!

Not looking forward to exercising this morning, I've noticed it's another double Arm Circle day :sadness::-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Chest Expansions (EotD) done,
End Game (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 26 of Fit December done,
Day 26 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Stretched done,
Happy Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster. I don't fault the lady, her heart was in the right place (And she cooks a good Christmas dinner!), but you can't get a bunch of people together, who don't know each other that well, don't have much in common and are all slightly depressed that their choices in life have led them to being thrown a "Pity" Christmas, and expect it to go well.
Luckily, I am now subject to the same universal laws as all Food Service Workers, and I ended up in the kitchen, so I could at least escape now and again!
Hopefully, the idea won't pop up again next year, but at least I've got a while to come up with a good excuse if it does.

It's going to be a quiet day today, with Beef Enchiladas for dinner. See y'all tomorrow!

Exercise time:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Side Kicks (EotD) done,
I've Got This! (WotD) attempted (1 set, my wrists weren't up to all that Planking today),
Day 27 of Fit December done (1 set lying down, the rest standing up, I still really hate lying on my belly!),
Day 27 of 2 Minute Mobility done,
Hip Flexors done (1 set),
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Chore day today since I'm out tomorrow, see y'all then!
