I felt accomplished and stronger this month. I challenged myself with DareBee's special festive activities, and it paid off. I know i could not have done it if not for the amazing support and encouragement here, so thank you, beautiful Bees!

  • Kanary 1 set substituted Squat Punches for lunge punches
  • Challenge: 1 Minute Plank day 28
  • Program: 60 Days of HIIT day 6; level III added march steps for active rest
  • 3.28 mile trail walk ~My grandson has been sick all week, hence all of the walking videos. They are good exercise, but not so beneficial to my mental health! It was a bit too icy for a true hike (especially alone) but it felt wonderful to walk outside again! It was below freezing but quite sunny with a very mild breeze; before i was finished i had shed gloves and then jacket.

  • Yoga/Program: Ironheart day 6 ~My knees cannot handle Hero Pose, so i did some Child's Pose variations instead; also added 3 minutes to do more.
I'm not a fan of Hero Pose either. It's way too easy to tweak the knees in that pose, and I see no functional benefit to doing it over Thunderbolt, which provides all the same benefits but is much safer for the knees.
