  • Challenges:
    • Upper Body Light
    • Calves of Steel
    • Daily Walk ~35 walks or hikes for a total of 79.25 miles
    • 1 Minute Meditation ~increased to 5 minutes throughout the month. I did this because i wanted to add a silent practice to my evenings; my morning meditations are guided.
  • Program: 30 Days of LIIT
  • Exercise of the Day: 22; 2 were modified
  • Yoga: 22
  • Hugs, Meditation, Blessings & Victories counted: 30/30
  • I also started Journaling (paper & pen); it is definitely a work in progress, but i think it is having a positive impact.

  • Daily walks outside: weather permitting, otherwise walking workout videos on YouTube; Hikes on the weekends (again, weather permitting)

    • Program: Fit December (evenings)~started on 27 Nov. I will be doing this 6 days a week (M-Sa), and i will be adding a dumbbell workout to the Hall Pass days.
    • Personal DareBee Workout Challenge: (evenings) Dumbbell workouts (see above)
    • Exercise of the Day: when possible
    • Yoga: short relaxing/stretching routines before bed
  • SUNDAYS:
    • No program days
    • Kanary & Challenges
    • Longer walks/hikes
    • Longer yoga routines
  • Continue: Begin & end each day with a hug, Counting Blessings, Morning Meditation, Journal, Counting Victories, and Silent Meditation

  • Exercise of yester-Day modified just did side lunges
  • Exercise of the Day modified held knee up in front rather than behind, and i barely squatted at all

  • 3.73 mile walk w/stroller
  • Program: Fit December day 9 substituted everything:hehehe:march steps for high knees (did them as fast as possible though and did 2x as many), toe tap hops for butt kicks, step jacks for regular, and side jacks for half jacks; took only 30 seconds rest between sets AND ended up doing an extra set because i was listening to The Nutcracker Suite and got caught up in the music!:twirl:

  • 2.16 mile walk w/stroller ~got home just as it started snowing

  • Program: Fit December day 12 10 ~on Wednesday i had kind of hit a wall (metaphorical, of course) and i just couldn't face day 10, so i used a hall pass; then today i attempted day 12 and absolutely could not do a single side bridge, which is half of the workout; i had another go at day 10 and was able to do it after all, so i swapped them.

I am following @Laura Rainbow Dragon's example and (attempting) to meet the requirements for all of the Tree Ornaments!:accepted:
  • Kanary 1 set substituted Squat Punches for lunge punches
    • 120 punches i have been doing jab+cross for each count, so my numbers are doubled
    • 40 kicks
    • 25 squats
  • Power Walk day 10
  • Power Punch day 10
    • 400 punches
  • Power Squats day 10
    • 18 squats
  • 1 minute plank hold

  • Ornaments Workout done in 3 sets: 40 kicks, 10 squats, 50 jacks, with 1 min rest between sets
    • 120 kicks (3x40) side and front, as in Kanary
    • 30 squats (3x10)
    • 150 jacks (3x50) a variety, but all low impact
  • 2.38 mile (mostly) trail walk
  • 45 second plank hold
  • Yoga

I was supposed to be out this night, but the function was cancelled due to weather, so i decided to tackle:
  • Program: Fit December day 14 took the full 2 minutes rest; also took micro rests between exercises; made several modifications, though not always the same ones so i won't list them; i did do the last set as shown but with micro rests between exercises. So glad to have it done!
I was also unable to walk outside because of the weather, and i couldn't face doing a video; i should be able to make it up later in the month.

I am flying back to Texas to spend my 35th anniversary, which is on the 23rd, and Christmas Eve with my husband and the rest of my kids and grandkids. I am not taking my laptop, and i don't like to post from my phone, so i won't be around for a little bit. I will continue with my early morning workout (the above, minus the snowfight) and am hoping for daily walks/hikes. I am taking a break from Fit December and will pick it back up when i get back on Christmas Day.
