For a month I have never been 100% and I continue to more or less struggle...
But despite this I'm already making excellent training plans for the new year :LOL:
I will rebuild my strength piece by piece by laying solid foundations, it will be fun :)

Last night's chat at the Darebee meet got me thinking about a few things.
First I need to improve my understanding of spoken English :P
I have no problem reading any text but I have much more difficulty with speaking.
The other thing that got me thinking was a point made by @neilarey about how the training proposed by Darebee allows you to take control instead of giving it to someone else.
That's what I loved from the first moment of Darebee, being able to decide how, when, why and mess around until you combine something good. Learning from your own body and with your own body, body and mind together.
I'm not a fitness expert but I've always trained and I really like to decide for myself what to do and how.
So for a while I'll be messing around with my own training (besides Muay Thai) :)

I managed not to cheat, I used all the Hall Passes but I respected the program finishing Fit December on December 31st :)
I decided to start the year following the lunar calendar, so today I dusted off the program that I really liked:
The Quick and the Dead: Total Training for the Advanced Minimalist by Pavel Tsatsouline
and I have officially started my strength conditioning :)
I still have to think about the rest :LOL:

I was already thinking about complicating my life but I stopped in time, this month I will only do the The Quick and the Dead program and the Standing Abs Challenge :)

I already feel more in control of my body, with plenty of room for improvement :)
I will continue to keep the training very simple and easy though, I plan 3 months with this type of basic training with various additions as desired, so I have plenty of time to improve.
