I am tired, which makes me consider dropping my workouts during the snowfight. But when I look at the programs I'm doing and my challenges, there is no excuse. Except for the squats challenge.
So tonight I made me do the workouts.
And now I'm conflicted about my book. Almost finished, just 40 pages or so, don't want to stop. But that will get me go to sleep too late..

The trains are honking in my village.. usually I like the sound of it, but not around midnight, everything sounds louder at night. It turns out it's a signal failure, so they have to honk at the railroad crossings....
I have trains within earshot of my apartment here too. Any hour of the night is fair game, though I have never considered if it was due to signal failures. Good luck, hope they sort it out soon. :please:

I went to the new Avatar movie with a friend. I prepared for a dissapointment, but it was awesome! Very much worth to see in 3D on big screen. The story was very different than I expected from the trailers though.

Saturday December 31st
A few days ago there was again a problem with the railway signals. Now the opposite: the crossings were closed and the bells were ringing constantly... We might have a local ghost playing around ;)

Today is a quiet day, I'm trying to finish my last book, still 150 pages to go with 4.5 hours on the clock until midnight 🤞

I was invited at the neighbor's to drink tea this afternoon, and I brought cookies 😊

My Zombies Run is not syncing, so frustrating.. it says I'm not logged in, but it has all my stats and runs and in the info it has my username.. trying to log in gives an error. So I might lose today's run and supplies. Oh, and although it remembered all my preferences, it did think I don't have a subscription (because it thinks I'm not logged in or something) so the settings for the chases were reset at 3 per hour and sprinting at 20% faster pace. And of course it gave me the first 2 within the forst 5 minutes and the 3rd after 10. The second chase was downhill and because I just finished the first one, my avg speed was recorded as faster than it should be, so I had to go full speed down hill, pretty scary and I almost couldn't slow down when the zombies gave up. The third one was uphill, also pretty hard. My achilles seems to handle it well, I decreased my basic pace to make it easier. I sent an email to support, I hope they fix it soon. I hate it when things don't work, especially when I pay for it..

They are lighting foreworks a lot here in the village. And Pico is super scared 😔 she doesn't like loud noises (and me neither)

Summary of 2022
This year has gone by so fast.. It's a year with ups and downs, in which I started running again, I had an awesome trip to Iceland, I visited a few nice places and theater shows in my own country, I had trouble at work, I was afraid I would die (but luckily that doesn't seem the case) and my aunt died. Oh, and I bought a house.

Here's a few stats
I ran 97 times, 34 hours, 12 minutes, 309 km and 3824 m elevation gain.

My fitness level has increased significantly:

I made a small bucket list in March:
:x:Visit 5 museums (I did 4, which is also great!)
:v:Visit Iceland
:v:Go to the theater twice
:x:Finish my Ministeck project (I didn't, but I finished a few jigsaw puzzles)
:v:Make 9 drawings (1 every month since I made the list) -> it hadn't been checked off if I didn't have my drawing challenge in november
:x:Learn 2 new piano pieces. Did 0.

Not a bad outcome.


Goals for 2023
Sport
▪️ In September I hope to join a 7km trailrun event.
▪️ And I subscribed to a 2023 year challenge, in which my goal will be 500 km running in total.

 Health
▪️  I want to find a way to actually hit my goals of healthy dinner and reasonable snacks 5 days a week. Due to busy work days and being tired a lot, I find it hard to not give in to bad eating habits.
▪️ I want to find more balance, in stress levels, emotions, sleep, social events and rest.

 Fun
I liked the mini bucket list I made this year, so I am repeating it

▪️ Visit 5 museums
▪️ Visit an awesome place/country
▪️ Go to the theater 5 times
▪️ Work on a project every month (like MiniSteck, crochet, jigsaw puzzles)
▪️ Make12 drawings (1 every month)
▪️ Learn 2 new piano pieces. I really need to start playing again.
