Today 2 friends came over to watch TLOTR 3 and stayed for dinner. I tried a new quiche recipe, which was really good! Almost forgot to add the herbs, but thought about it before it went in the oven, so dish was saved (it would've been really tasteless without it). They wanted to see how I make my drawings, so I drew a peacock while they were chatting. Felt a bit weird and I constantly thought they had to wait too long for me, but they said they were good. In the end it turned out to have taken less than 45 min.
And, I ran for 30 minutes straight! Checked off the 5k badge too in the process! Next week I can start with Zombies Run!
When I went for my run, I accidentally locked Pico out I have a digital cat door, and apparently I didn't really think when opening it. At night I keep it shut, so she can't go out to fetch mice and stuff. In the morning I open it. But it has 5 options: closed both ways, open to go out/closed to go in, closed to go out/open to come in, time based, open both ways. There's 1 button to set the option. From open both ways to shut both ways is 1 click. From shut to open both ways is 4. I think I clicked only once instead of 4 while I wanted to open it both ways. So Pico went out, and came back to a closed door. When I came home she sat before the cat door, meowing in a heartbreaking high voice. I felt really bad...
