Thanks everyone!

@Lady Celerity I wouldn't say I gained any real 'results' from it, but I do think it is a good habit to get into. I am very often (too often) concentrated on either a book or a computer screen. Also, I can tell my eyes are getting worse, I have now been wearing glasses since a year or two. I'm a bit worried about my eyesight in general so it made a lot of sense to me to force myself to redirect my focus every once in a while.

The last few days of this week, my back has been bothering me again, so I am a bit extra careful. The most likely cause is that I bought a new pair of shoes with slightly higher heels (though not all that high) than my previous pair, having its effect on the way that I stand and walk. But it could also be a reaction to stress. Funny how that always gets to my shoulders and back. I hope I can stop it from getting worse.

Have a good week!

I think I have managed to not aggravate my back pain any further. It's still there, but not so bad now.

All the hamstring stretching seems to be useful too!

See ya!

100 day streak! For me, the hack is to ensure I make time to exercise first thing in the morning.
I didn't do enough running though...

Have a good week everyone!

Thanks for the support dear Bees, it's very encouraging!

This week I completed Upper Body Blast Challenge. Something to celebrate every week! (It's a good, motivating strategy, I think...)

Have a good week all!

Thank you thank you :thanks:

I've abandoned the Hamstring Stretch Challenge, since it involved twelve exercises every day, and I decided it wasn't worth spending that much time on. Seemed a little exaggerated. But I will keep the focus on my hamstrings as a part of my regular stretching routine, especially after going for a run.

On the positive side, I completed the Posture Challenge and I liked it. It wasn't hard to do, but I do think that it activated some muscles which made me stand upright with better posture.

From Thursday until Sunday I was away on a mini holiday, spending some time in Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. I didn't do my regular workouts, but I'll count those days as part of my workout streak as I was quite active, spending a lot of time outdoors in lovely sunny weather. I also managed to go for a run.

Well... not a good week for exercise at all. I am working on my bachelor thesis and progress on that is slow. This has kept me distracted from working out.

I'm more or less OK about it because I really have to focus on finishing my writing. So far I've managed to do at least a little mini workout every day.

Another very minimal week.

I was away from home from Monday until Saturday, and being out of my normal environment and daily rhythm always has a huge impact on how much I work out. I managed to do a little something every day to keep my streak, but not much more than that. I suppose it's OK if it doesn't last too long.

Back to more serious training now...

I felt like starting a program again and chose Reboot. I also completed the Glutes of Steel Challenge.

I'm liking the program, but after three days I was feeling so much muscle soreness (which in itself is good) that I thought it was safer to take it easy for a short while, in preparation of my 10K race on Sunday. So for a few days, I only did some lighter workouts and some stretching, just to be safe.

And today I completed my first ever 10K race! Amazing. It really makes me happy to accomplish something that I've trained for for a while now, and that I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done a few months ago.
