  • Exercise of the Day (#595) @neilarey makes it look so easy! i tried ~ nope; then i tried from the knees ~ nope; finally, i managed them against the wall, so did 10:phew:
  • December Challenge: One & Done day 6
  • Program: SOMA 40+ day 9; level I; kept it low impact, just alternated between step jacks & side jacks
  • 250 punches done during rest periods
  • Challenge: Stomach Vacuums day 6
  • 10 calf raises to celebrate @princess_sarena's 100th Day!

I was supposed to watch 2 of the grands for a couple of hours in the afternoon, which ended up being the entire afternoon and well into the evening, so i didn't get to SOMA 40+. I did get in lots of 2-year-old presses, lifts, general wrangling and dancing!

  • Decorating the DARE Tree my plan is to do all of them, and decide which ornament to claim when i've finished
    • 300/2000 Punches
    • 100/600 Squats
    • 30/200 Wall Push-ups
    • 500/1000 Step Jacks*
    • 100/500 Kicks
  • Program: Fit December i decided to do this after all; i missed it! Since today is the 10th, i went ahead and did the *step jacks for all 10 Hall Passes. I will do day 1 tomorrow and work my way through, using my hall passes for the ab days: 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, & 31. That is only eight, which still leaves me 2 days behind, so i will just double up a couple of days.

:x: Program: SOMA 40+ on hold until at least next week after Ornaments are done; i may just wait until January and then restart it.

I agree, @Laura Rainbow Dragon and @NightWolf714, especially this time of year. I don't bake much, generally, but i always make gingerbread at Christmas.

:heart: All 7 Grands here in the morning for my "Cousins Cocoa Christmas Party!" I try to do it close to Saint Nicholas Day, but had to wait a week this year. A good time was had by all! Then spent the afternoon with the 4 that were staying the weekend watching Christmas movies, coloring, and building LEGO.

  • Program: Fit December last day of doubling up, although i still need to pick up day 16 at some point; took active rest by alternating sets of each day

  • Challenge: Stomach Vacuums day 19 not going to double up on this, since there are 31 days this month
:snowball: Snowfight: dodged 197 (394 side jacks)
EVENT TOTALS: 761 snowballs dodged with 1522 side jacks +100 for the 50 snowballs i kept =1622 side jacks
(not quite as good as last year: 867/1734)​

:hheart:Date with my husband: we went to our little downtown and visited the new library that was built last year when we were in Colorado. Then we walked around and looked at the lovely light displays, stopped for a cocktail, and finally had dinner at a favourite Italian restaurant. Our 36th anniversary is tomorrow (well, today as i'm posting this) so that was our little celebration.
