@PetiteSheWolf and @Fremen, i thoroughly enjoyed it! I had tried to read it as a young teen, but just couldn't get into it; fantasy is not my favourite genre, but i had loved the Narnia books. Anyway, i thought it was about time! Now it's on to Lord of the Rings in January.

THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER 2024
~THANKSGIVING DAY!​
Got up and tidied my kitchen from the previous day's grandkids' crafting adventures; took out the trash & recycling; and started making pies. While those baked i did my morning meditation & reading. When the pies were finished i roasted a bunch of veggies and mixed up a maple-dijon vinaigrette dressing. Then i packaged everything, relaxed, and watched the Macy's Parade. About 1130 we loaded up the car and headed out to the Hill Country to our daughter's home for our family's gathering. Everybody made it mostly on time; the food was delicious; and we all have a great time together! I was definitely feeling thankful & blessed!​

Not much formal exercise, but some good moving anyway:
  • Loading & unloading extra table & benches into & out of my car
  • Walk w/my husband, 4 of our daughters, 2 of our sons-in-law, and 2 of our grandsons after our feast

FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER 2024
This was a quiet day. I didn't have to watch any grandkids, but my husband had to work, so i just puttered ~as my Daddy used to say. ​
I listened to some jazz; worked on my autumn puzzle; spent some extra time reading; did a little light housekeeping.​
And i did have some pie for breakfast!:noming:​

  • November Challenge: 10,000 Punches day 29
  • Workout of the Day: Made with Love level I +ec
  • Program: SOMA 40+ day 2 i meant to start this program yesterday, and i want to keep the 7 day rotation Thu-Wed, so i will just tag on day 1 at the end; level I modified to be low impact
  • Stomach Vacuums +ec trying to get the feel of this as i plan to do the Challenge in December
  • Walk w/my husband: 2.84 miles
