Tuesday November 29th
Today I went with my uncle to a dance performance. So beautiful! Was home late so no workouts.
Before I went to my uncle, I had to go to the art supply store in his city (the one in mine is gone since a month, bankrupt due to covid and energy costs 😭). You have to pay for parking, and I normally use an app for it, but my internet was down. I became very much aware of my dependency on the internet.. had to buy a physical ticket and think about how long I'd be gone. Felt weird 😅

Wednesday November 30th
Last day of my vacation. I finished the folder project for my friend, and called that my drawing for the day. My neighbor asked me over, it's his wife's birthday so they had cake.

I don't feel well. Physically but mainly mentally. I have stomach issues for a few months now, went to the GP and because of my fear and the complaints not being gone after anti acid treatment she ordered a gastroscopy. My eldest brother got stomach cancer at 36, so my fear has a history, and I am just hoping I am only a bit of a hypochondriac. I don't dare to talk about it to anyone near me, because I'm the one everyone always counts on. One of my best friends know that I get the gastroscopy, because I need a ride. She said that for me it would be nice to have someone around anyway while waiting and stuff, so I thought she understood, but then asked me if she can take her 2 year old or needs to arrange a sitter. I don't want to have a 2 year old hanging around, if I get bad news..

And then there's work stuff, I thought a vacation would help but it feels much harder to go back after all the fuzz last month.

I am really anxious, sad and tired..

Thursday December 1st
Slept very badly, was really nauseous and was afraid I couldn't get to work, but after eating breakfast slowly and drinking some milk and ginger tea it was better. I think this was a combination of my stress for work and a new anti acid drink I tried.
Work was okay though, didn't expect that one. My hurt colleage even brought me hot chocolate. Everyone came by saying hello and wanting to talk. Don't think that fits with me creating an 'unsafe environment'.

There's a problem with my gastroscopy at work; I am not allowed to drive or make any important decisions for 24 hours due to the sedation, but the next day I'm the only one available for a task that's only allowed to be done by anyone qualified, which can't be moved. There's 3 of us: me, another colleage that's overseas for a holiday (like on another continent) and the third one away for a course. I am hoping she will skip course for me. Gastroscopy is December 14th btw.

I started the kitty advent calendar roday. Pico got a whole bag of candy for the first day! She loved it.
I also started kind of my own exercise advent calendar (I do miss the Darebee one 😔); I bought a chocolate advent calendar, and I am doing the daily dare to earn it for the day. If I'm not capable of the exercise of that day, I wil come up with a proper substitution.
