From 29 October until 1 November I was on the yearly creative autumn meeting of the Hungarian Tolkien Society. The event itself is always thematised (this year we were all orcs living in Mount Gundabad), but that's just a flavour, there are no RPG elements (unless you specifically participate in an RPG workshop if there is one -- this year there were about five), and it's not strictly Tolkien-related either. It's mostly just a way for the community to gather and hold so-called workshops for each other that are activities ranging from creative work to training your body to complex games.
Throughout the weekend there were five three-hour-long workshop slots and an
abundance of workshops to choose from. I ended up making copper rings, turned two mugs into winter and autumn decorations, learned a céilí choreography, and for the last two slots I went biking.
