Thanks for the birthdaywishes!

I am struggling.. with work, with running, with working out, with life changes.

At work I'm struggling with my colleages. Shortest version is that for months I'm sort of blamed for their incompetence; not that I cause their incompetence, but because they find the work hard, I should get rid of the 'problem' (while I expect them to take responsibility for the incompetence).
And now also one (new) colleage wants to take over  my job, has a strong opinion about it (stating that I should do it differently), without even knowing how this job looks like.
I need this job at least for another year, so I hope I can endure this and hold ground... because I am good at my job, I'm sure about why and how I do things, and I don't want to allow a parasite like this ruining it. She's not hired to do my job, but hers.

With the change of the season, I couldn't get myself out for a run. The only thing I wanted to do after work, was crouch away on the couch under a blanket. I am trying to get back on track, without injuring myself; in the past this has been the beaking point: losing consistency and then going too fast. I hope I will make it to the 500 km goal for this year (120 km left in 2 months).

I am hiking long distances though. I started with a round trip of 375 km, split in 19 stages of 9 to 20 km.
And I'm slowly getting through 30 days of cardio.

And I bought a new (old, awesome and cute) house, but the financing is a problem (because of side issues, not because I couldn't afford it) and I only have a week left to get approval. This gives me a lot of stress. Also the whole process of getting my current house ready to be sold, going through all memories I buried, and my boyfriend going abroad during this time so I feel pretty alone.

That is a lot, @NancyTree . :hug: Best wishes for the house financing to work itself out, and for things to settle down at work. It is no fun to be scapegoated for BS reasons.

I love your photographs, as always. Mushrooms are so fascinating. Easy to overlook from afar, but so interesting and almost magical up close. I love the fall colours too!

They are easy to overlook indeed, everytime I saw one, more became 'visible' around it. Or I noticed later that I was sitting next to another one while taking a picture.

Thursday October 31st
Had a talk with my manager about the 'parasite' colleage. She also does it to others, which leads to them to have no work. So luckily he's on my side with this.

October summary
Halfway September my exercise went down, especially the running. It will be a challenge to reach the 500 km running this year. But it wouldn't be fun anyway when it is too easy 😉.
I'm 41 km behind, and 8 weeks left, so it means I have to run an average of 15.5 km per week to catch up before the end of the year. Must be doable if I'm running 3 times a week.

I didn't pay attention to my other year goals/bucket list.. I should find a way to step out of my daily survival mode and go do stuff..

Autumn is my favourite season too. It's perfect weather for being outside here. And so beautiful with all the colours.

I discovered the bureau that's handling my morgage application, didn't send it last week but last Monday. Valuable days lost, and they don't care. I'm totally stressed about it... can't do anything, I hate that.

Friday November 8th
Had a fun day at work 😊. Still no word about the mortgage, so reached out to a different advisor to see if we can do a different path..
Went to eat out with a friend, came home late(r) and forgot to do ZEN in the evening.

- Program: Total abs day 5, lvl 1
- Lower body workout: Power squat (no EC possible)
- Lower body workout: Good Morning Glutes, twice. 2nd time with thick resistance band and EC (40 reps)
