Wednesday October 26th
I was busy all morning preparing for my birthday party. Baking, cleaning, spacemaking, groceryshopping. I didn't invite many people, but I'm always afraid I won't have enough food/drinks or not enough choices.
My run was lovely, except that I twisted my ankle badly TWICE.
Because of the fallen leaves I couldn't see the roots... The first time hurt, but after a few steps it was okay again, though I felt the tendons on top of my foot/ankle. The second time felt really bad, I was afraid I broke something in my foot or ankle or both.. So all worst case scenarios went through my head. But luckily also that subsided mostly. Tonight I even forgot about it, until now when going to bed, so maybe it was just the distraction that made me forget. Best birthday gift ever: getting away fine after such bad events..
Besides that: the cake was good, it was nice to have my friends over and I got lovely presents.
